Fresh plants from European nurseries
Description
“Black Amber” is a fruit plum with a recognizable garden shape and decorativeness that reveals itself differently throughout the season. Deciduous green foliage forms a fresh crown during the season and adds new shades to the composition in autumn. Flowering occurs in spring and early summer; the main color of the flowers is “White”. The plant forms edible fruits; the color of the fruits is “Characteristic for the variety”; ripening usually lasts from July to September.
For harmonious development, it is important to choose conditions close to the natural requirements of the plant. Optimal lighting - sun; a warm and, if possible, protected place. Soil - fertile, well-drained; slightly acidic-neutral. Watering - regular during rooting, flowering and fruit setting; without waterlogging. Frost resistance - high, approximately up to −20…−25 °C.
In the landscape, the variety works easily both as a standalone accent and as part of a more complex composition. The best use scenarios are - fruit garden; compact/heat-loving crops - large container. The main advantages of “Black Amber” are - edible harvest, extended fruiting period, self-fertility, good winter hardiness and suitability for container cultivation. To maintain the shape, it is enough to adhere to the following pruning scheme: formative and sanitary; timing and intensity depend on the crop and type of fruiting. Pollination feature - depends on the variety: Opal and Victoria are usually self-fertile; Reine Claude Verte and many others are better with a pollinator.

Dopo l'apertura ho controllato per prima Plum ‘Black Amber’. Ogni pianta nella scatola era segnata separatamente. Nella scatola non sembrava esserci alcuno scambio.
Nulla appariva schiacciato, rotto o troppo secco. Le gemme visibili erano integre. La zona delle radici era umida ma non bagnata eccessivamente.
Ho potuto aprire tutto subito.
