Description
Cydonia "Portuguese Pear Quince" - this is a well-known European pear-shaped quince variety, valued for its high yield, large aromatic fruits, and excellent taste after processing. The tree is characterized by moderate growth, good winter hardiness, and stable annual fruiting, remaining decorative throughout the season.
Decorative features
The main advantage of the variety is large, pear-shaped fruits of rich yellow color with a strong, pleasant aroma. The pulp is dense, juicy, rich in pectins and organic acids, ideal for making jams, jellies, marmalades, and other homemade preserves.
In spring, the tree is abundantly covered with large, delicate pink flowers, and the dense dark green foliage remains decorative until autumn. Ripening golden fruits stand out effectively against the crown, decorating the garden at the end of the season.

The young tree arrived in great condition, no complaints at all. The little tree looks well-branched, with healthy bark and firm buds. Just what I needed for that spot in the garden.
