Description

Juglans regia "Corne du Perigord" is an old French walnut variety, known for its high yield, longevity, and large nuts of excellent quality. The tree is characterized by strong growth, a beautiful spreading crown, and stable fruiting. The fruits are valued for their thin shell, large light kernel, and rich sweet taste.

Decorative features
The main advantage of the variety is its large oval nuts with a thin but strong shell that cracks easily. The kernel is light, oily, with a pleasant sweet taste and a high content of healthy oils.

In spring, the tree is covered with long green catkins and small female flowers, and large light green leaves retain their decorative appeal until late autumn, turning into warm yellow hues.

The wide, dense crown creates pleasant shade and becomes an expressive decoration for a spacious garden.
