Description
«Napoleon» is a fruit stone tree with a recognizable garden shape and decorativeness that unfolds differently throughout the season. Deciduous green foliage forms a fresh crown during the season, and in autumn adds new shades to the composition. Flowering occurs in spring and early summer; the main color of the flowers is «White». The plant forms edible fruits; the color of the fruits is «Characteristic of the variety»; ripening usually lasts from June to August.
For harmonious development, it is important to select conditions close to the natural requirements of the plant. Optimal lighting — sun; a warm and, if possible, protected place. Soil — fertile, well-drained; slightly acidic–neutral. Watering — regular during the rooting period, flowering and fruit ripening; without waterlogging. Frost resistance — high, approximately up to −20…−25 °C.
In the landscape, the variety easily works both as a standalone accent and as part of a more complex composition. Best use scenarios — fruit garden; compact/heat-loving crops — large container. The main advantages of «Napoleon» are an edible harvest, extended fruiting period, good winter hardiness, suitability for container cultivation and the architectural silhouette of an adult plant. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: formative and sanitary; timing and intensity depend on the crop and type of fruiting. Pollination feature — a compatible pollinator variety is usually needed for a good harvest.
