Description

Fragaria "Elsanta" is one of the most popular mid-early varieties of garden strawberries of Dutch selection, valued for its high yield, large berries, and excellent commercial qualities. Compact, powerful bushes form strong peduncles and annually yield a stable harvest.

The berries are large, of regular conical shape, bright red, with glossy skin and dense, juicy pulp. The taste is harmonious, sweet with a slight sourness and a rich strawberry aroma. Thanks to their dense structure, the fruits tolerate transportation well and retain freshness for a long time, which makes the variety an excellent choice for both home and commercial cultivation.

The variety prefers sunny areas with fertile, loose, and well-drained soil. With proper care, it boasts high yields and a long fruiting period.
